Kalākaua Avenue runs along the edge of Waikiki Beach,
one side is the ocean, the other is the city.
It’s where surfing and daily life meet, where people walk with salt in their hair and sunlight on their skin.
For me, this place captures what I love most about Hawaii: the rhythm of the waves and the calm of ordinary days.
